Findlay Law Text Messaging Program (SMS) Program Terms
Program description. Findlay Law sends text messages to clients who have retained the firm, regarding their own legal matters. Messages include appointment reminders, case status updates, requests for information or documents, and replies to messages you send us. This is a conversational, client-service program only. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
How you opt in. Text messaging is available only to clients who have retained the firm. You are enrolled only if you have signed or initialed the Text Message Communications clause in your engagement paperwork and provided a mobile number, or if you text our firm number first. We do not enroll anyone through this website, and submitting a form on this site does not sign you up for text messages. Consent is never a condition of representation or of any purchase, and we do not obtain phone numbers from third parties, purchased lists, or affiliates.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies depending on activity in your matter.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard rates apply to all messages sent and received.
Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages. You may re-subscribe by texting START or by telling your attorney. Opting out of texts does not withdraw you from representation; we will continue to reach you by phone, email, or mail.

Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy. Mobile information and messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
Confidentiality. Text messaging is not a secure channel. Do not send sensitive or confidential information by text. Communications by text with clients of the firm are intended to be confidential and privileged, but the firm cannot guarantee the security of messages in transit or on your device.
